After a long day at Troy Fest, this is what I saw.... I really hope she's not a thumb sucker, but it was too cute not to share :)

Two Months
I know it is cliche, but Holy Cow I can't believe how fast two months have FLOWN by! It feels like we were just at the hospital finding naming The Crumb!!! Now, check her out.
She and I had a little photo shoot today and these are just a few I snapped. She was smiling and cooing so much! She has developed quite the personality in these two short months. I can't even imagine what it is going to be like to continue to watch her grow and develop! It is so much fun!!!
Little Grandmother made this 'little dutch doll' quilt for MC-Lo before we knew she was a girl. I guess Grandmothers just have a feeling! I absolutely love that she will have something sewn by her Great Grandmother. What a special keepsake!
In other two month news, today was MC-Lo's two month doctor's appointment. At her two week appointment she weighed 8 lbs, 3 oz and was 20 inches long. That put her in the 50th percentile for weight and 70th for height. At this appointment she weighed 12 lbs, 6 oz and is 22.5 inches long. She jumped up to the 95th percentile in both weight and height! (Go big girl!) When her doctor found out that she is solely a breastfed baby, he told me that I was doing 'a hell of a job!' That made this momma feel pretty good. I mean, its hard to know just how much she does get to eat. She still spits up a ton...but can you imagine how big she'd be if she didn't!!! Doc wasn't concerned about her spitting up (since clearly she's gaining weight) and said we just have a laundry and social problem :) While he answered all my questions, this little girl just slept.
Until it was time for the shots! Oh, yeah...they didn't warn me that we'd be having shots at this visit. I wasn't prepared for little bandaids on these chubby legs...
This is what MC-Lo thinks about shots!
Just kidding! She was a trooper and only cried a little bit. But that cry did produce real tears and that was pitiful! But by the time the nurse gave her back to me, she was snoozing again!
If you need me, I'll be spending the next month getting in all the squeezes I can on this little girl before I have to go back to work. Let's pray that this last month goes by much slower than the first two!!!

Snapshots of life
When I can't get here as often as I'd like, you'll have to excuse the randomness of my posts. I've got a lot to get in around eating/sleep cycles and it takes time to actually download pics from my camera. Until then, iPhone pics will have to suffice.
Backing up to Easter...MC got some new shades, but as you can see, she was not impressed.
Until, that is, we went strolling and she learned how functional they are.
(Ok, so she was really asleep and I just propped them on her face...)
The weekend of April 13-15 was my sorority's 35th anniversary weekend (more on that later) and was also the 41st annual Calico Fort Art Show. G went with Meme and Grandpa to help out for the entire show and Husband, Diva, MC and I went over on Sunday to help with take down. The girls were a big help with Half Day Sucker sales.
Meme and G let MC have a little taste while Diva and I were checking out the other booths. Needless to say, she was a big fan of the cotton candy flavor and smacked for hours!
While MC and I are at home all day, we have to take pics and text to Daddy. Here are two of my faves.
I still can't believe that MY baby has blue eyes! But I love them!!!
This past weekend we went to my hometown and MC got to hold Unca B for the first time... he was sick when she was born. She slept the whole time he had her.
Little Grandmother also got her chance to squeeze on her Great-Grand Daughter.
We also decided that MC has some very Cee Lo poses...
...and we have started calling her MCee-Lo.
When you call DHR, please tell them this picture was staged by her FATHER and Unca B.
Mommy only takes sweet pictures!
Okay, that's all the time I've got for today! Hope you've all had a great Monday!

Bath time
Here are a few more pictures from my belated photo download:
MC's first bath was a rather loud experience. As you can tell, she LOVED it!
She let us know exactly what she thought of bath time...
However, she does enjoy a hooded towel and quieted down for that part.
You can't beat that 'fresh baby' smell.
I'm in love with the Aveeno wash and lotion.
But that was a month and a half ago. We've come a long way with bath time and she really likes it now. Especially since she can get in the water.
Happy Easter
Happy Easter from my Easter Bunnies.
MC says "Yo! Yo! Yo! I'm da Easta' Bunny, dog."
Oh, wait...that wasn't a thug-bunny face...that was the I'm-about-to-spit-up-on-my-outfit face. Wardrobe change!
Now we have a (very happy) naked Easter Bunny!
Look at those rolls!!! I die!!!
After church we had Easter lunch with Husband's side of the family.
MeMe and Grandpa have been out of town a lot lately so they had a lot of catching up to do with MC.
When I first joined the family, this fella was just a baby! I can't believe how big he is now!
Cousins
MC was such a good girl. (Meaning, she slept through most of the day.) She was even able to stay in 'big' church for the entire service.
She perked up in time for pictures.
The Adams family
The big sisters made it just in time for pictures.
Our beautiful ladies!
The girls with their Easter baskets.
It was such a beautiful day to celebrate our risen Lord and Savior! Hope your day was just as wonderful.

Pictures from Week 1
I am enjoying my time with little MC so much that I've totally abandoned you guys!
Overall, life is great! I'm adjusting to life as a new mom and learning that babies aren't so scary after all. We have finally reached some type of schedule and my brain has adjusted to functioning on short spurts of sleep at a time. I'm also getting better at taking naps. (...unfortunately, because I'm really going to miss those when I have to go back to work.) I've also discovered that the best work out is leaving the house with a baby. Oh, my!!! Car seats are so heavy, and this little girl is only getting bigger. I broke a sweat going to the bank the other day. There's no way we're going anywhere in July...I'll sweat to death just getting her in and out of the car!
I'm just now getting around to uploading pictures from when we came home and I can't believe how much she's grown! Here's a few for your viewing pleasure:
MC--one week old
I could just eat these little toes up!!!
...and these little fingers!
Snuggling with Daddy
Look at those pouty lips!
Watching her wake up is the most entertaining thing. She makes some of the funniest faces and hand gestures.
And this is what we do in the mornings after getting the sisters off to school.
Speaking of sisters...G enjoyed having a photo shoot with MC and the frog...
...and with silly glasses.
Remember those bibs and onesies that were painted at our shower? Well, here they are on our model.
Clearly, our friends thought we were having a boy. If she had to wear tractors and footballs, she had to wear really girly socks. :)
A few people dropped by to squeeze on my girl...
Aunt Nellie Sue
Ward, who was really comfortable holding a new born if you can't tell.
"Uncle J-bone"
Ahhhh...finally a man who knows what to do with a baby! Mr. Warren, the bonus Grandpa!
"Aunt Kim"
Louie is super jealous of our new addition.
I'll try not to be a stranger around here. Thanks for sticking around!
